How does the Card waitlist work?

Welcome to our new debit card launch! We are thrilled to have you on board and excited to announce that we have created a waiting list to accommodate the high demand for our new card.

To ensure a smooth launch and to give everyone a fair chance to get their hands on our card, we have implemented a wave system. This means that we will release the card to a limited number of people in waves, starting with Wave 1, and gradually increasing with each subsequent wave.

Each wave consists of 5000 users, and we will be opening up the ordering process in waves over the coming months. So, if you signed up for the waiting list, don't worry, you will have the opportunity to order the card in due course.

Here's how it works:

  • Wave 1: The first wave of users will be able to order the card in a few months from now. We will send out a notification and an email to everyone on the waiting list notifying them of the launch date.

  • Wave 2: Two weeks after Wave 1, we will open up the ordering process for Wave 2. Again, we will send out a notification and an email notifying those in Wave 2 when they can order the card.

  • Subsequent Waves: We will continue to release the card to new waves of users every few weeks until everyone on the waiting list has had the opportunity to order the card.

We understand that waiting for your turn can be frustrating, but we want to ensure that everyone has a fair chance to get the card. We appreciate your patience and look forward to having you as a part of the Wave 1 or future waves.

I’m already in Wave 1. What does that mean?

This means that you don’t need to do anything else. The first wave is available to a select group of users who have been most active in the previous app or have staked a significant amount of EGLD.

This means that some users will automatically be notified that they are in Wave 1 and will have the opportunity to order the card as soon as it becomes available. These users have shown a high level of interest and engagement with our platform, and we want to reward their loyalty by giving them early access to our new product.

If you have not been selected for Wave 1, don't worry. We will continue to release the card to new waves of users every few weeks until everyone on the waiting list has had the opportunity to order the card. So, keep an eye on your notifications or email inbox, and we will notify you when it's your turn to order the card.

How frequent do the waves change?

We are taking snapshots of our waiting list at different intervals, and the first 5000 people in the list at that time will be included in the next wave.

What does this mean? Well, let's say you signed up for the waiting list a few weeks ago, and we take a snapshot of the list today. If you are among the first 5000 people on the list at the time of the snapshot, you will be included in the next wave of users who can order the card.

Now, here's where it gets interesting. If you invite one new user who signs up for xPortal from your referral link/code, you can jump 5000 places in the queue! That means you could potentially move up the list and get earlier access to the card.

For example, let's say you are number 10,000 on the waiting list. You invite a friend to sign up for xPortal (users that already had an xPortal account are not eligible, only new users are counted). Because you referred them, you will now move up 5000 places to become number 5000 on the list! This could mean you get early access to the card before others who signed up before you.
