Sending tokens from the xPortal app is a simple process, but it’s important to follow each step carefully to ensure your transaction is successful. Here’s how you can send tokens from the app:

  1. Launch the xPortal app on your device.

  2. On the main screen, navigate to the "Wallet" tab where your crypto tokens are stored.

  3. Tap on the token (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, USDT, etc.) you wish to send from your wallet. This will open up the details for that specific token.

  4. Look for and select the "Send" button. This will allow you to initiate the transaction.

  5. You’ll need to provide the recipient’s wallet address where you’re sending the tokens. You can do this in two ways:

    • Scan a QR Code: If the recipient’s wallet supports QR codes, you can scan their QR code directly from the app to auto-fill the address.

    • Manually Enter the Address: If the recipient provided you with an alphanumeric wallet address, you can paste or type the address manually into the field.

  6. After entering the recipient’s address, input the amount of the token you wish to send. Make sure you are sending the correct amount and check the minimum transfer limits for the token.

  7. Before finalizing the transaction, review all the details:

    • Recipient's Address: Double-check to make sure you’ve entered the correct address.

    • Amount: Verify that the amount is accurate.

    • Network Fees: Be aware of any network fees (also known as gas fees) that may apply to the transaction. These fees are deducted from your wallet balance.

  8. Once you’ve verified everything, confirm the transaction. The app may prompt you for additional authentication (such as PIN, password, or biometric authentication) to ensure the security of the transaction.

  9. Once confirmed, the transaction will be broadcast to the blockchain. Depending on the network you’re using (Ethereum, Solana, etc.), it may take a few minutes for the transaction to be processed and confirmed.

You can usually track the transaction’s progress within the app or on the relevant blockchain explorer using the transaction hash (TXID).

  10. Once the transaction is confirmed, you will receive a notification within the app, and the tokens will be deducted from your balance.

The recipient should also receive the tokens in their wallet once the transaction is fully processed.

Key Considerations:

  • Double-Check the Address: Always double-check the recipient’s address before confirming the transaction. Sending tokens to an incorrect address can result in a permanent loss of funds.

  • Network Fees: Make sure you have enough funds in your wallet to cover both the amount you're sending and the network transaction fee (gas fee).

  • Transaction Speed: Depending on the blockchain network, the transaction may take a few minutes to complete. For instance, Ethereum or Solana transactions may take longer during periods of high network congestion.
