Sending tokens to the xPortal app involves a few steps to ensure that the tokens are properly transferred to your account. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to send tokens to the app:
Launch the xPortal app on your mobile device.
From the main screen, go to the Wallet section. This is where you'll manage your crypto tokens, view balances, and handle transactions.
In the Wallet section, select the specific token or cryptocurrency you wish to receive (BTC, ETH, EGLD, USDT, etc.). Look for the "Receive" option and tap on it. The app will generate a unique wallet address for the selected token. This could be a QR code or an alphanumeric string (a wallet address).
Copy the Address: If you’re using a different wallet or exchange to send tokens, you’ll need to copy the wallet address shown in the xPortal app.
Scan the QR Code: If the other wallet or platform supports QR code scanning, simply scan the QR code displayed in the xPortal app to auto-fill the address.
Go to the Source Wallet (Where the Tokens Are Stored). Open the wallet or exchange where your tokens are currently stored. This could be another app, a hardware wallet, or an exchange account.
Select the option to Send or Transfer tokens in your source wallet. Paste the xPortal Wallet Address: If you copied the address earlier, paste it into the destination address field.
Scan the QR Code: If you opted to use the QR code, simply scan it using your source wallet.
Select the Token and Amount: Choose the token you wish to send and enter the amount. Be mindful of the network fees involved (especially with tokens like Ethereum).
Double-check the recipient address (xPortal wallet address) and token amount before confirming the transaction. Once everything looks good, confirm the transaction to initiate the transfer.
The transaction will go through the respective blockchain network (like Ethereum, Solana, etc.). Depending on the network’s speed and congestion, it may take a few minutes for the transaction to complete.
You should receive a notification or see the tokens appear in your xPortal wallet once the transaction is successfully confirmed.
Important Notes:
Blockchain Compatibility: Ensure that the tokens you are sending are compatible with the blockchain supported by the xPortal wallet.
Network Fees: Be aware that sending tokens usually incurs a high network fee (gas fee), especially on networks like Ethereum.
Double-Check the Address: Always double-check the wallet address to ensure you're sending tokens to the correct location. Sending tokens to the wrong address could result in a permanent loss.
